Dark Sacred Night

LAPD Detective Renée Ballard, working the graveyard shift known as the "late show," returns to the Hollywood Station to find retired detective Harry Bosch rifling through old case files. The cold case that has consumed Bosch is the unsolved murder of fifteen-year-old runaway Daisy Clayton, whose body was found in a dumpster years earlier. Intrigued by the case and sharing Bosch's relentless commitment to justice, Ballard teams up with the ex-homicide detective to find Daisy's killer and finally bring a resolution to the long-forgotten crime. Their new partnership is tested as they face departmental obstacles and dangerous turns in their investigation.
