Frank E. Peretti

Frank Edward Peretti (born January 13, 1951) is a bestselling author known for popularizing contemporary Christian supernatural thrillers focused on spiritual warfare. His best-known novels include This Present Darkness (1986) and its sequel Piercing the Darkness (1989). Peretti's work blends elements of suspense, horror, and the paranormal and has influenced the modern Christian thriller market; several of his novels have been adapted for film and have sold millions of copies worldwide.
