Penny Sumner
Penny Sumner is an Australian-born novelist and short-story writer who moved to England as a postgraduate student. She undertook a D.Phil. at Oxford and has taught creative writing and contemporary literature at the University of Northumbria. Her work includes novels and short stories; her short story collection I Murdered Him, Too was shortlisted for the Crime Writers' Association Short Story Dagger Award. Her novel Tree of Angels (ISBN 9780752865348) is a multi-generational historical novel tracing a family's dispersal after the Russian Revolution.
