Neil Patrick Harris

Neil Patrick Harris (born June 15, 1973) is an American actor, entertainer, magician, author, producer and host. Known for roles in television (notably Doogie Howser, M.D. and How I Met Your Mother), stage work, and award show hosting, Harris expanded into writing with his New York Times–bestselling memoir Choose Your Own Autobiography and the middle-grade Magic Misfits series, the first book of which (The Magic Misfits) was published in 2018. He served as President of the Academy of Magical Arts (2011–2014) and is active in film, television, theatre and children’s literature.
