Carolyn Parkhurst (born January 18, 1971) is an American novelist best known for her debut bestseller The Dogs of Babel. She has published novels including Lost and Found, The Nobodies Album, and Harmony, and a children's book Cooking with Henry and Elliebelly. Parkhurst holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. in creative writing from American University. She grew up in Waltham, Massachusetts, and lives in Washington, D.C. with her family.
