Thomas F. Monteleone

Thomas Francis Monteleone (born April 14, 1946) is an American author known for horror and science fiction novels and short stories. A professional writer since 1972, he has published dozens of novels, collections and edited anthologies (notably the Borderlands series), and has won multiple Bram Stoker Awards. He has also written for television and stage and authored The Complete Idiot's Guide to Writing a Novel. In 2017 he received the Horror Writers Association Lifetime Achievement Award; that award and his HWA membership were subsequently revoked by the HWA in January 2023.
