Barbara Gibson

Barbara Gibson is a Polish illustrator specializing in digital collages. She is the co-owner of Gibson Kochanek Studio, which she runs alongside her partner, Marta Kochanek. Based in Birmingham, UK, their studio has been blending historical elegance with contemporary design for over ten years. Barbara and Marta's photomontage illustrations have received global recognition, featuring in major publications and collaborations with industry leaders. She previously had a 25-year career as an accountant before pursuing illustration. She graduated from Warsaw School of Photography and Graphic Design in 2013 and relocated to Birmingham, UK, in 2014. Her work often creates socially-engaged compositions using vintage images from mid-twentieth century magazines.
