Rob Reger
Rob Reger is an American artist, writer, and the creator of the iconic character Emily the Strange. He grew Emily the Strange from an image on skateboards and t-shirts into an international fashion brand and publishing phenomenon. Reger's work is influenced by the DIY punk scene, guerrilla art, surrealism, and the psychedelic era. He has a BFA from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MFA in printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute. His fine art, including oil paintings, printmaking, watercolor, collage, and sculpture, has been exhibited globally. Reger also writes screenplays that focus on themes of mental health awareness, PTSD, depression, and addiction.
