J. R. Backlund

J. R. Backlund is an American author of crime and suspense fiction best known for the Rachel Carver mystery series, including Among the Dead and Down the Broken Road. Born in North Carolina, he studied journalism at the University of Florida, spent a period working in construction management, and later returned to writing. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife and their dogs.
