Brandon Stanton
Brandon Stanton is an American author and photographer, best known as the founder of Humans of New York (HONY), an online storytelling platform and collection of books. He has also created "Dear New York," an immersive art installation in Grand Central Terminal. Stanton began his photography project in 2010 with the goal of photographing 10,000 New Yorkers and plotting their portraits on a map of the city. The project evolved to include interviews and stories, gaining a large following on social media and inspiring similar projects worldwide. He has also traveled to over 40 countries to capture people's stories. His work has led to fundraising efforts for various causes, and he has authored multiple New York Times bestselling books.
