Jess Walter
Jess Walter (born July 20, 1965) is an American novelist and short‑story writer from Spokane, Washington. He is the author of numerous novels and story collections including Beautiful Ruins, The Financial Lives of the Poets, The Zero, Citizen Vince, and The Cold Millions. His work has received the Edgar Award and has been a National Book Award finalist; his short fiction has won O. Henry and Pushcart Prizes. Walter's books have been widely translated and his fiction mixes literary depth with accessible, often humorous storytelling.
