
Walter Mosley
Walter Mosley (born January 12, 1952) is an American novelist best known for his crime fiction, particularly the Easy Rawlins series beginning with Devil in a Blue Dress (1990). His work spans mystery, literary and historical elements, afrofuturist science fiction, and nonfiction; he has received numerous awards and recognition and has been influential for his portrayals of African-American life in 20th-century urban settings.
