Jessica Ryn is a British author and professional fiction editor. A former midwife and homeless resettlement worker, she completed an MA in Creative Writing at Canterbury Christ Church University. Her fiction often explores homelessness, care, community and mental-health themes; her debut novel The Extraordinary Hope of Dawn Brightside was published by HarperCollins (HQ). She lives in Dover, UK.
