Joanna Trollope
Joanna Trollope (writing also under the pseudonym Caroline Harvey) was an English novelist known for clear, character-driven fiction about family and everyday life. She began her career writing historical romances as Caroline Harvey before gaining wide popularity for contemporary novels such as The Rector's Wife and A Village Affair. Her books have sold millions of copies worldwide and been translated into numerous languages. She was honored for services to literature in the 1996 Queen's Birthday Honours.
