Cathy Kelly (born 1966) is an Irish bestselling author of contemporary women's fiction. A former journalist and advice columnist, she published her first novel in 1997 and has since written numerous bestsellers often centering on family, relationships and community. She has been an ambassador for UNICEF Ireland and lives in County Wicklow with her family.
