She has written for television (including Baroness von Sketch Show, Schitt's Creek and Workin' Moms), published essays in outlets such as The New Yorker and The New York Times, and is the author of the essay collection I Can't Believe It's Not Better (2015) and the novel Really Good, Actually (2023).
