She is passionate about telling emotionally resonant dark stories that feature bisexual representation, messy main characters, and cathartic third acts. She is also a journalist specializing in pop culture, mental health, lifestyle, wellness, and LGBTQ+ issues. Her debut YA novel, This Raging Sea, was published in 2025, and her debut adult novel, She Haunts Me Still, was released in Summer 2026. Outside of writing, De loves musical theater, traveling, and spending time with her friends, cats, and family.
