James Joyce
James Joyce was an Irish novelist, poet, and literary critic, widely regarded as one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. He is known for his experimental use of language and exploration of new literary methods, particularly stream of consciousness. His major works include the short-story collection Dubliners, and the novels A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses, and Finnegans Wake. Despite spending most of his adult life in self-imposed exile in continental Europe, his writing remained deeply connected to his native Dublin and Irish culture.
