Lisa Lutz (born March 13, 1970) is an American author best known for the bestselling Spellman series about a family of private investigators. She began her career writing screenplays and later adapted one rejected screenplay into her debut novel, The Spellman Files (2007). Lutz has written multiple novels, including standalones and children’s books, and has received Alex Awards for her work. She lives in upstate New York.
