Faith Martin is the pen name of English author Jacquie Walton. She is best known for the DI Hillary Greene detective series set in Oxfordshire and has also written the Jenny Starling mysteries and the Ryder & Loveday novels. Walton began her career writing romances under other pen names (Maxine Barry) and publishes crime fiction under Faith Martin. She was born in Oxford and lives in an Oxfordshire village; she is a prolific author in the British crime/cozy-mystery tradition.
