Sarai Walker

Sarai Walker is an American novelist and essayist best known for her debut novel Dietland (2015), which was adapted as a television series for AMC. Her work often explores feminism, body image and fat-positive activism. Walker's essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and other outlets. She has worked as an editor for Our Bodies, Ourselves and holds an MFA in creative writing and a PhD in English.
