Stephen Dobyns

Stephen Dobyns is an American poet and novelist known for his cool realism, pungent wit, and often absurdist narratives. He has written numerous novels, including the Charlie Bradshaw mystery series, and many collections of poetry. His work frequently explores profound meditations on life, love, and art, using the ridiculous and absurd as vehicles. His journalistic training has informed his writing style. Some of his novels have been adapted into films.
