Carrie Vaughn

Carrie Vaughn (born January 28, 1973) is an American novelist and short-story author best known for the Kitty Norville urban fantasy series. She has published more than twenty novels and over one hundred short stories across fantasy, science fiction, and contemporary genres. Vaughn won the 2018 Philip K. Dick Award for Bannerless and has been a Hugo Award finalist. An Air Force brat, she lives in Boulder, Colorado, and is active in the speculative fiction community.
