Paul B. Thompson (born 1958) is an American novelist and freelance writer best known for numerous tie-in novels set in the Dragonlance shared-world setting and other fantasy works. He has co-authored many books (often with Tonya R. Carter/Cook) and has written both adult fantasy and historical/juvenile nonfiction. He grew up in North Carolina and has written fiction, short stories, and non-fiction across a multi-decade career.
