Margaret Wurtele

Margaret Wurtele is an American author, philanthropist, and vineyard owner. She grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated from Smith College in 1967. She served in the Peace Corps in Senegal and later earned a Master's in Liberal Studies from Hamline University. Her writing includes two memoirs, 'Touching the Edge: A Mother's Path from Loss to Life' and 'Taking Root: a Spiritual Memoir', as well as the novel 'The Golden Hour'. She and her husband own the Terra Valentine winery in Napa Valley, California.
