Geoffrey West

Geoffrey Brian West is a British theoretical physicist and former president and distinguished professor of the Santa Fe Institute. He is known for his work on complexity science, particularly the development of a scientific model of cities and the metabolic theory of ecology. He was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2006.
