Melissa Scrivner Love

Melissa Scrivner Love is an American author and television writer. Born to a police officer father and a court stenographer mother, she grew up with an interest in law and order. She earned a bachelor's degree in Russian and theater from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree in English Literature from New York University. Before becoming a novelist, she worked as a writer for several television shows, including 'Life', 'CSI: Miami', 'Person of Interest', and 'Fear the Walking Dead'. Her debut novel, 'Lola' (2017), received critical acclaim and was nominated for an Edgar Award.
