Helen Oyeyemi
Helen Oyeyemi is a British novelist and short story writer known for her imaginative, genre-defying fiction that often blends elements of folklore, mythology, and surrealism. Born in Nigeria and raised in London, she published her debut novel, The Icarus Girl, at age 20 while studying at Cambridge University. She has since lived in various cities worldwide, including Prague, and has received numerous accolades for her work, which frequently explores themes of identity, migration, and the uncanny.
