Frances Liardet

Frances Liardet is a British author and translator of Arabic literature. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and studied Arabic at Oxford. She spent time in Cairo working as a translator of modern Egyptian novelists, including Nobel Prize winner Naguib Mahfouz and Edwar al-Kharrat. She is the author of novels including 'The Game', 'We Must Be Brave', and 'Think of Me'.
