Helen Recorvits

Helen Recorvits is an American author and former elementary school teacher. She holds degrees in education and psychology from Rhode Island College. She is best known for her children's books, including the 'Yoon' series, which explores themes of immigration and identity, as well as novels for older readers such as 'Goodbye, Walter Malinski' and 'Where Heroes Hide'.
