Téa Mutonji
Téa Mutonji is a Canadian poet and fiction writer born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She is best known for her debut short story collection, 'Shut Up You're Pretty' (2019), which explores themes of womanhood, migration, and coming of age in Scarborough, Ontario. She holds a degree in media studies and minors in English literature and creative writing from the University of Toronto Scarborough, and completed an MFA in fiction at New York University.
