Jeanne Achterberg

Jeanne Achterberg was an American psychologist known for her pioneering research in mind-body medicine, particularly the therapeutic application of guided imagery and creative visualization. She authored over 100 papers and five acclaimed books, including 'Imagery in Healing: Shamanism and Modern Medicine' and 'Woman as Healer.' Time magazine named her one of six innovators of alternative medicine for the 21st century.
