Jean E. Pendziwol
Jean E. Pendziwol is an award-winning Canadian author of books for adults and children. Born and raised in northwestern Ontario, she draws inspiration from the region's culture, history, and geography. Her debut adult novel, "The Lightkeeper's Daughters," is a bestseller that explores themes of family, identity, and art, set against the backdrop of Lake Superior. Pendziwol has also written numerous acclaimed children's books, including "Skating Wild on an Inland Sea," which won the Governor General's Award for Children's Literature - Illustrated Books and the TD Canadian Children's Literature Award. She lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
