Owen Laukkanen is a Canadian author known for his mystery and thriller novels. Born in Vancouver and raised in Windsor, Ontario, he graduated from the University of British Columbia's creative writing program. Before establishing his career as a novelist, he worked as a professional poker journalist and a commercial fisherman. He is best known for his Stevens and Windermere series and the Neah Bay series.
