Drew Hayden Taylor is an acclaimed Indigenous Canadian playwright, author, journalist, and filmmaker. Born and raised on the Curve Lake First Nation in Ontario, he is of Ojibwe and Caucasian ancestry. Known for his humorous and perceptive exploration of Indigenous identity, culture, and the complexities of navigating life between two worlds, he has written over 30 books and more than 20 plays. He has served as artistic director of Native Earth Performing Arts and has held numerous writer-in-residence positions across Canada and internationally.
