John Wyndham

John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris was an English science fiction writer, best known for his works published under the pen name John Wyndham. He examined the human struggle for survival when catastrophic natural phenomena suddenly invade a comfortable English setting. His works often explored themes of disaster, invasion, and evolution, and many were set in post-apocalyptic landscapes. He is considered a founding father of apocalyptic fiction. Wyndham also used other pen names, including John Beynon and Lucas Parkes.
