Devon Monk (born January 9, 1970) is an American novelist best known for her urban fantasy series including the Allie Beckstrom books, the Broken Magic spin-offs, and the Age of Steam steampunk novels. She has published numerous short stories and novellas, and writes fast-paced, character-driven fantasy that often mixes humor, romance, and action. Monk lives in Oregon with her family and maintains an active writing career.
