Ashley Shuttleworth is a young adult fantasy author born in Chilliwack, British Columbia, and currently based in Ontario, Canada. They hold a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Trent University, with an emphasis on Milton and the Romantic Period, and a minor in Classical History. Before becoming a full-time author, they worked in various roles, including as a bookseller, barista, teacher in South Korea, and a wine merchant. They are best known for their urban fantasy series, The Hollow Star Saga.
