Toya Wolfe

Toya Wolfe is an American author who grew up in the Robert Taylor Homes on Chicago's South Side. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago. Her debut novel, 'Last Summer on State Street', is a coming-of-age story set in the Chicago housing projects in 1999. Her writing has appeared in various publications including African Voices, Chicago Journal, and Chicago Reader.
