Mariane Pearl
Mariane Pearl is a French journalist, writer, and public speaker. She is widely known for her memoir 'A Mighty Heart', which details the kidnapping and murder of her husband, Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, in Pakistan in 2002. She has dedicated much of her career to journalism focused on women's rights and empowerment, serving as the managing editor of the Chime for Change platform and founding Women Bylines.
