Imbolo Mbue is a Cameroonian-American novelist and short story writer based in New York City. Born in Limbe, Cameroon, she moved to the United States in 1998 to pursue higher education. She is best known for her debut novel, 'Behold the Dreamers' (2016), which won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and was an Oprah's Book Club selection. Her work often explores themes of immigration, the American Dream, class, and the impact of corporate greed.
