Karen Roberts (1965–2018) was a Sri Lankan-born author who resided in the United States. She is best known for her novels exploring Sri Lankan themes, including 'The Flower Boy' (1999), 'July' (2001), and 'The Lament of the Dhobi Woman' (2010). She lived in California for many years until her passing in February 2018.
