Michael Nicholson (1937–2016) was a highly decorated British television foreign correspondent, known for his extensive reporting from 18 war zones over a 40-year career. He was a former anchor of ITV's Evening News and a correspondent for the current affairs series Tonight. His memoir, 'A Measure of Danger', and his book 'Natasha's Story'—which detailed his efforts to bring an orphan from Bosnia to the UK—gained significant recognition, with the latter adapted into the 1997 film 'Welcome to Sarajevo'.
