Zadie Smith
Zadie Smith (born 1975) is an English novelist, essayist and short-story writer known for her energetic prose, sharp social observation and interest in race, class and identity. She rose to international fame with her debut novel White Teeth (2000) and has published several acclaimed novels including On Beauty, NW and Swing Time, as well as collections of essays and short fiction. She has taught creative writing and holds a degree from King's College, Cambridge.
