Lisa See
Lisa See (born February 18, 1955) is an American novelist and non-fiction writer best known for historical novels that explore Chinese and Chinese-American experiences, including Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Shanghai Girls, The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane, and The Island of Sea Women. She is also the author of the family history On Gold Mountain and has been active in cultural organizations related to Los Angeles Chinatown.
