Amy Poeppel

Amy Poeppel is an American author and playwright known for her novels, including 'Small Admissions', 'Limelight', 'Musical Chairs', 'The Sweet Spot', and 'Far and Away'. Before becoming a novelist, she worked as an actress and a high school English teacher. She graduated from Wellesley College and holds an M.A. in Teaching from Simmons College. She and her husband, neuroscientist David Poeppel, have three sons and have lived in various cities, including New York City, San Francisco, Berlin, and in Connecticut.
