Lara Prescott

Lara Prescott is an American author best known for her debut novel, The Secrets We Kept, which fictionalizes the true story of the CIA's plot to smuggle Boris Pasternak's Doctor Zhivago out of the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a political campaign consultant. She holds an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin.
