Jeanne C. Stein is an American author best known for her urban fantasy series, The Anna Strong Vampire Chronicles. Born and raised in San Diego, California, she later relocated to Colorado. She is active in the writing community, holding memberships in organizations such as Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, Sisters in Crime, and the Horror Writers of America. In addition to her own work, she has co-authored books under the pseudonym S. J. Harper.
