Safiya Sinclair

Safiya Sinclair is a Jamaican poet and memoirist born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She is known for her debut poetry collection, Cannibal, and her memoir, How to Say Babylon, which chronicles her upbringing in a strict Rastafarian household and her journey to find her own voice. She is currently an associate professor of creative writing at Arizona State University.
