Kim van Alkemade

Kim van Alkemade is a New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction. Born in New York City and raised in suburban New Jersey, she earned a BA in English and history from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a former professor of English at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and now works as a writer and bookseller in Saratoga Springs, New York.
